Wagga Wagga (shortened for convenience to Wagga) is a city located in New South Wales, about mid-way between Sydney and Brisbane. From the great outdoors to a vibrant business and shopping district there is something for everyone in Wagga Wagga.
How to get to Wagga Wagga from Sydney…
Wagga Wagga is located about 458 kilometres from Sydney and it will take you about 5 hours and 40 minutes to get here.
Directions are as follows:
Head north on George Street towards Angel Place and turn right at Bridge Street. Turn right again at Loftus Street and take a left at Bent Street. Turn left to merge onto Cahill Express. Continue on Eastern District and merge onto General Holmes Drive. Take a slight left at South Western Highway, continue on the South Western Flyway and onto Hume Highway. Take a slight right to stay on Hume Highway. Take the ramp onto Sturt Highway and go through two roundabouts. Turn right at Baylis Street and arrive at Wagga Wagga.

Wagga Wagga Botanical Gardens are located at the base of Willans Hill and are set on 8.9 hectares ground. In amazing surroundings you'll find a discovery centre, children's playground, rainforest section and a free flight aviary, all of which are open to visitors.
Other attractions within the gardens include a Tree Chapel, a Chinese Garden, Cactus and Camellia Garden and a Miniature Railway.
